Given the rapidly evolving circumstances surrounding the COVID-19 virus outbreak and the WHOs March 11 proclamation of the virus as a pandemic, The Portage Industrial Exhibition Association would like our members and the public to be aware that we are monitoring the situation closely.
Please watch for updates and changes to the following that may be required as information evolves.
Upcoming rentals of The MNP Exhibition building and the Boardroom in the Administration building are currently being honoured.
For upcoming events that are going ahead, we ask that you self monitor for any guests who have traveled within two weeks of your event or who have been exposed and request that they do not attend.
If you or your organization would like to postpone your event to a later date, please contact Heather at the Portage Ex office at 204-857-3231 or email at firstname.lastname@example.org. We will do all we can to work with you in booking an alternative date for your event.
Although the Portage Ex office may be closed, Heather will be monitoring for phone messages and emails throughout the weekend as the situation evolves.
We would like to share with you the following links to information regarding the outbreak that has been provided by to us by MAAS (Manitoba Association of Agricultural Societies), CAFÉ (Canadian Association of Fairs and Exhibitions) and The Portage Chamber of Commerce.
